THE FACE OIL WITH A THOUSAND POWERS FOR ALL SKIN TYPES: Salwa Petersen reinvents dry face oil, drawing inspiration from an ancestral recipe from Chad, passed down from her mother. A powerful cocktail of precious vegetable oils—chosen for their antioxidant, revitalizing or even regenerating benefits—is combined with an exclusive blend of sandalwood, spirulina and the iconic Chébé seed, harvested in Chad by Salwa Petersen at her family estate. With a delicately scented, dry texture and an exceptional velvety feel, the Face Oil is the result of an unprecedented alchemy: through rapid penetration, it intensely and lastingly enhances, soothes and nourishes the skin. Day after day, skin looks more hydrated and younger-looking.

Dicaprylyl Carbonate, Helianthus Annuus (Sunflower) Seed Oil, C15-19 Alkane, Sesamum Indicum (Sesame) Seed Oil, Balanites Roxburghii Seed Oil, Simmondsia Chinensis (Jojoba) Seed Oil, Croton Gratissimus Seed Extract, Santalum Austrocaledonicum Wood Oil, Spirulina Maxima Extract, Centella Asiatica Flower/Leaf/Stem Extract, Hippophae Rhamnoides Seed Oil, Silybum Marianum Ethyl Ester, Rosmarinus Officinalis (Rosemary) Leaf Extract, Fragrance (Parfum), Limonene, Citronellol, Benzyl Salicylate, Eugenol, Geraniol, Linalool, Tocopherol
Apply the oil to the face, neck and décolleté after cleansing, in the morning and in the evening. Warm up 3 or 4 pumps of oil in the palm of your hand and gently massage the face with small circular motions. Like a serum, the oil can be used alone or in combination with all creams and skincare lines. It is suitable for all skin types, even the oiliest. The oil serves as an excellent base for makeup. You can also apply it in small touches on the cheekbones for a glowy effect. Adding a drop to the bathwater offers a deeply relaxing experience and transports the senses to the great plains of Chad. Thanks to its subtle scent with hints of jasmine and sandalwood, the Face Oil can also act as a perfume, by applying a drop to each wrist.
Growing up in northern Chad, Salwa Petersen, founder of the eponymous brand, learned many traditional beauty rituals. One being Chébè—a custom where Chadian women used the powder of a tropical African shrub to treat and grow their famed long hair. The efficacy of this ritual was the inspiration for Petersen to develop her line of award-winning products using cutting-edge technology and natural, ritualistic recipes from her home country.
