Growing up on the lush island of Mauritius, founder and scientist Jean-Éric Marie has always had a love and respect for nature. His experience living in this environment, combined with the loss of a fellow researcher to prolonged toxin exposure, led him to a career in green chemistry and inspired him to start Mistik. The Montreal-based natural body and hair care brand uses pure ingredients from renewable plant sources and doesn’t include harmful petrochemicals.
